As we enter the final 18 days before the 49th Annual EBSL Championships, the coaching staff would like to take a moment to recognize how far this team has come. 

     First, thank you to all of the families who participated in Coaches Appreciation Week. Your generosity and support mean a great deal to our coaching staff. 

     We would also like to thank everyone who contributed to our recent fundraising efforts. Together, our Gator community raised over $15,000 to help improve our program and create new opportunities for our athletes. This accomplishment is a reflection of the incredible support system that surrounds our team. 

     With only a few weeks remaining in the season, now is the time to focus on the little things. 

     Championship races are often decided by details:


A stronger streamline.


A faster turn.
A better finish.


An extra underwater dolphin kick.


One more practice attended. 

     The Gators have come a long way this season. We have grown together, challenged ourselves, raised our expectations, and supported one another through every success and setback.

But we are not finished yet. 

     For the next 18 days, challenge yourself at every practice. Push through difficult sets. Focus on technique. Embrace the work. The athletes who improve the most are often the ones who continue to give their best effort when others begin to relax.

     As the philosopher Albert Camus wrote about Sisyphus: “The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man’s heart.”

     Improvement is not always easy. Sometimes it requires doing the same things over and over again until they become habits. The reward comes from continuing to push forward, even when the path is difficult. 

Remember: “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.” 

Every lap matters.


Every detail matters.


Every practice matters. 

The best performances of the season may still be ahead of us.
